Pearl Birthstone June
Greetings!
White Opal Ring
When you think of a white gemstone, you probably picture a diamond. While diamonds are brilliant and last forever, there are less expensive alternatives. Now you can wow everyone who sees your hand without spending a lot of money.

If you can't afford diamonds then you might have more success going for different gemstones that will get more attention. We see diamonds everyday so really the only wow factor comes if there's an impressive cut or the stone is really large. You can get a bigger impact just by going with a stone that isn't part of everyday wardrobes.

We work one-on-one with you to create a perfect custom ring that turns a special moment into an unforgettable memory.

January Birthstone: Deep Red Garnet
Garnet Earrings
One glance at the deep red seeds nestled inside of a pomegranate fruit explains why the word "garnet" comes from the Latin word "granatus," meaning "grain" or "seed." This name was given to the garnet because of its close resemblance to the pomegranate seed.

Although most commonly known as a red gemstone, the garnet comes in a variety of other hues, including muted yellows, vibrant oranges, rosy pinks, lime greens, and violets-a virtual bouquet of colors. This diversity is due to unique combinations of elements within each particular gem, such as iron, calcium, and manganese.

A gift of garnet is thought to be symbolic of love and the desire for a loved one's safe travel and speedy homecoming. It is January's birthstone, but far from being only a winter gem, the garnet, with its brilliance and multitude of colors, is truly a gem for any season.

White Gemstones: Moonstones, Opal, White Topaz ...

White chalcedony, such as moonstones, were linked to the moon goddess and used for purifying of the spirit. It was said that priestess and nuns wore them for maintaining chastity and for healing the sick during the dark ages.

White is active, positive, all revealing, dynamic and stimulating. White is used for protection of both the physical and mental body. White gemstones are receptive and in some beliefs, ruled by the moon. They are associated with night, sleep, protection, good fortune and intuitive energy.
